This tournament was started in 2013 in memory of Pat, who loved baseball and played the game with great skill and passion. He was a 2010 graduate of North East High School whose life was tragically cut short by an automobile accident on October 10, 2012. At 6, he started playing TeeBall in Southern Huntingdon, PA. Pat moved to North East before his 6th grade year and started playing in the Major Boys division of the North East Little League. His passion for the game grew from his experiences at the Denny Lowes Complex and continued as he played for the North East High School team for four years. Additionally, Pat played for the local legion team for several years, and in a softball tournament, which benefited the Make a Wish Foundation.
Pat was a fun loving and compassionate person who is sadly missed. We hope that through this tournament, Patrick’s memory will be kept alive for years to come.
